Two Malayali nurses among five killed in Saudi Arabia road accident

Riyadh: Two Malayali nurses were among five people killed in a road accident on the Taif-Rania road in Saudi Arabia.
The deceased Malayali nurses have been identified as Jaisy Mol Mathew, 36, from Ayarkunnam in Kottayam and Jobina Johny, 26, from Kurumalloor.
Two other women travelling in the same car, both from Tamil Nadu, also died in the accident. They were identified as Vijayalakshmi, 36, and Hepsiba, 33. The Saudi national who was driving the vehicle was the fifth person killed.
Nurses were travelling on a day off
The four women were colleagues working at Al Ghafa and Al Aweil clinics in the Taif Governorate. They were travelling for shopping on their day off when the accident occurred.
According to the information available, the vehicle lost control and overturned on the Taif-Rania road, resulting in the deaths of all five occupants.
The bodies are currently being kept at Ranyah General Hospital. Procedures will be completed before the bodies are transported to their hometowns in India.
