Kollam couple found dead in Unayzah, Saudi Arabia

Buraidah (Saudi Arabia): A couple from Kadakkal in Kollam were found dead in Unayzah near Buraidah in the Al-Qassim region of Saudi Arabia. The deceased have been identified as Sharath (40), son of Mani in Kadakkal, and his wife Preethi (32), also from Kollam. 

Sharath was found hanging in a room, while Preethi was found lying dead on the floor.

The incident came to light after Sharath’s employer visited their residence after he failed to report for work. When they did not open the door for a long time, the police were called. Upon opening the door, they found the couple dead.

Sharath had been doing electrical and plumbing jobs in Unayzah for several years. He had brought his wife Preethi to Saudi Arabia two months ago.
