Man kills self after murdering wife; daughter unharmed in Riyadh tragedy

Dammam: A young man from Kollam and his wife were found dead at Al-Thuqbah in Al-Khobar here in the eastern province of Saudi Arabia.
The deceased have been identified as Anoop Mohan (37) and his wife Ramyamol (28). Initial reports suggest that Anoop may have killed his wife before taking his own life. Their five-year-old daughter, Aradhya, who was with them at the time, is safe and currently under the care of the Indian Embassy. It is suspected that Anoop tried to kill his daughter before committing suicide.
The incident is said to have happened three days ago. Anoop allegedly killed his wife before committing suicide by hanging himself from a ceiling fan. Neighbours discover couple dead during house inspection after hearing child's cries. Upon receiving the information, the police arrived at the location and carried out the necessary procedures.
Anoop was found hanging from the fan, while Ramyamol was discovered lying dead on the bed. Their daughter, Aradhya, told authorities that her mother did not wake up and her father was hanging from the fan.
The couple had arrived in Saudi Arabia on a visit visa, which was set to expire next month. The mother and daughter were preparing to return home. Anoop, originally from Thrikkaruva in Kollam, had been residing in Riyadh for several years, working as a painting worker in a workshop in Al-Thuqbah.
