Cremation of Malayali CA killed in Ireland to be held in Hosur on August 11

Dublin: The cremation of Malayali chartered accountant Dipa Dinamani (38) will take place on August 11 at Hosur in Tamil Nadu. Her body will be kept at her residence in China Kullu for public homage.

Earlier, Dipa’s brother, Ullas Dinamani, travelled to Ireland to take custody of Dipa’s 5-year-old son. He thanked the Indian community in Cork for all the support they provided in bringing the mortal remains of his sister to India. It should be noted that organisations such as the Cork Pravasi Malayali Association and WMC Cork had raised 25,000 Euros through iDonate platform to help the family of the deceased.

Dipa’s husband Rijin Rajan who was arrested by the Irish police in connection with the murder was sent on remand. He will be produced at the Cork district court on August 28. Dipa Dinamani was stabbed to death at her rented house in Wilton Cardinal Court residential area on July 14.

Dipa who had an experience of over 14 years as a chartered accountant had joined for work at Cork Airport Business Park in April this year.  She had earlier worked in companies including Infosys and Apex Fund Services.
