Malayali women-led startup to showcase product at Dubai Expo

Thiruvananthapuram: A product of ‘Vydyuthi Energy Service’ (VES), a startup led by a MalayalI, will be showcased at the US pavilion of the upcoming Expo 2020 Dubai scheduled to be held from October 2021. The company is in the sustainable renewable energy sector in Kerala and will be represented by its co-founder Vani Vijay in Dubai.

The global meet on gender equality hosted by The Gender Park, Kozhikode, from February 11 to 13, 2021, achieved carbon neutrality and became the first carbon-neutral event of the state government and this was achieved with the support of VES, the startup recognised by the United Nations Women’s Empowerment Principles (UN-WEP). The leadership positions of the company, based at Thiruvananthapuram are held by women.
