India fuel price today (November 27): Check city-wise petrol, diesel and LPG rates

As of Thursday, November 27, 2025, petrol and diesel prices in India remain stable with no major change compared to yesterday’s fuel rates.
Despite frequent fluctuations in the global crude oil market, India’s petrol and diesel prices have stayed steady owing to government fuel price regulations and pricing strategies adopted by oil marketing companies. Currently, fuel rates in India are influenced by international crude oil prices, the rupee–dollar exchange rate, excise duty and state-level VAT on fuel.
However, petrol prices in India remain higher than neighbouring countries such as Nepal, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka, largely due to the higher excise duty and VAT imposed by state governments. This tax structure keeps India’s petrol price among the highest in South Asia, even during periods of international price moderation.

LPG price update
The domestic LPG cylinder (14.2 kg) price in Mumbai currently stands at ₹852.50, with no revision recorded in the latest update. LPG rates in India have remained unchanged since April 2025, when a ₹50 price increase was introduced earlier this year.
Over the past 12 months, LPG prices in India have shown a gradual upward trend, marking a total increase of ₹50 between December 2024 and November 2025. The April 2025 revision was the most significant adjustment, after which domestic LPG cylinder prices have remained stable across major Indian cities.
