Gold and silver prices today: Chennai tops gold rates, check latest prices across major cities

Gold prices remained largely steady across major Indian cities on Saturday, with Chennai reporting the highest rates for both 24K and 22K gold. Silver prices also showed minor regional variations, with southern markets quoting slightly higher rates than several other cities.

In Chennai, 24K gold was priced at ₹14,509 per gram, while 22K gold stood at ₹13,300 per gram and 18K gold at ₹11,120 per gram.

Most other major cities, including Mumbai, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Kerala and Pune, recorded 24K gold at ₹14,433 per gram and 22K gold at ₹13,230 per gram. Delhi was marginally higher, with 24K gold priced at ₹14,448 per gram and 22K gold at ₹13,245 per gram.

In Gujarat, Ahmedabad and Vadodara saw 24K gold retailing at ₹14,438 per gram, while 22K gold was priced at ₹13,235 per gram.

Silver prices ranged between ₹2,350 and ₹2,400 per 10 grams across the country. Chennai, Hyderabad and Kerala quoted silver at ₹2,400 per 10 grams, translating to ₹24,000 per 100 grams and ₹2.40 lakh per kilogram. In contrast, Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Pune, Ahmedabad and Vadodara recorded silver at ₹2,350 per 10 grams, ₹23,500 per 100 grams and ₹2.35 lakh per kilogram.
