Etihad Airways unveils CSK-themed aircraft livery, fans express excitement over social media | WATCH

Etihad Airways has taken branding and fan engagement to the next level with a specially designed Chennai Super Kings (CSK)-themed aircraft. The airline has shared the video of the custom-branded aircraft on social media. 

In the video, we can see the Etihad Airways A320neo sporting CSK’s signature colours – yellow and blue with the team’s crest embossed across different parts of the aircraft. Etihad has confirmed that the CSK team with fly exclusively on this aircraft during the IPL 2025 season and beyond, thus offering a seamless travel experience for the players. 

Etihad Airways is the official sponsor of Chennai Super Kings. The unveiling of this video also marks a major three-year milestone in the Etihad-CSK relationship.

The livery unveiling video has gone viral on social media with enthusiastic CSK fans expressing their delight and enthusiasm over the aircraft and the team.

The aircraft, which is the first Airbus A320neo to be operated by a UAE carrier will serve on Etihad’s short-haul routes. Its inaugural flight will take place in December at CSK’s home base in Chennai. 

CSK team has already made some strategic moves with key players like Ravichandran Ashwin and Sam Curran while adding Afghanistan’s rising star Noor Ahmad to strengthen the team.

Led by one of the most successful captains in IPL history, MS Dhoni, with five titles under his belt, CSK is confident of another victory this year.
