Bank branches in several states will remain closed for up to four days this week due to regional festivals and scheduled weekend holidays, according to the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) holiday calendar.

While banking services will function normally in most parts of the country from July 13 to July 15, select states will observe holidays later in the week for occasions such as Ratha Yatra, Harela, the death anniversary of U Tirot Singh, and Drukpa Tshe-zi.

Customers should note that July 18, the third Saturday of the month, is a working day for banks across India, except in Sikkim, where branches will remain closed for Drukpa Tshe-zi.

On July 19, banks across the country will remain shut as part of the regular Sunday holiday.

Although physical bank branches will be closed in the affected states, digital banking services, including UPI, internet banking and mobile banking, will continue to operate without interruption.
