YouTuber held for hate speech against hotel owner in Perinthalmanna

Perinthalmanna: Police have arrested a web journalist for allegedly making inflammatory comments on a YouTube channel against the owner of a hotel owner in Manazhi. The arrested individual is Baiju (44), Chanakya news reporter and a Youtuber hailing from Pookottumpadam.

According to police, Baiju, who is on the rowdy list prepared by the Pookottumpadam Police, got infuriated after noticing a Ganapathy idol in a hotel run by Perinthalmanna native Abdurahiman near the Manazhi Bus Stand. Following this, he allegedly shared a "hate speech" video targeting the hotel owner through YouTube. 

Police said that several criminal cases were pending against him at the local station.
