Congress-Youth League activists brutally attacked by DYFI workers at police station in Kannur

Kannur: DYFI workers allegedly assaulted Congress-Muslim League activists for protesting against the Kerala Government's Nava Kerala Sadas here on Monday. 

DYFI activists allegedly assaulted Youth League workers who were taken into preventive detention at Pazhagadi Police Station. Congress and League activists who tried to capture the visuals of DYFI workers protesting outside the station also suffered a brutal attack. As per the reports, the DYFI workers stormed into the station and tried to manhandle the League activists. The visuals of the incident also show police desperately trying to disperse the workers. 

The incident happened after the police took a Muslim Youth League, the youth wing of the Indian Union Muslim League, workers into Preventive Detention ahead of the Nava Kerala Sadas in the region. 

Meanwhile, Youth Congress workers, who waved black flags at the Chief Minister while attending Nava Kerala Sadas in Eripuram, was taken into custody.
