Youth arrested in Kochi for molesting actress who had blocked him online

Kochi: An actress was allegedly sexually assaulted in Kaloor. The incident occurred near the Kaloor Stadium. In connection with the case, Palarivattom police arrested Vipin Roy, a native of Kathrikadavu and an employee at an IT firm.

The incident took place last Thursday. The accused had been following the actress on social media and sending her messages. Due to continuous harassment, the actress had blocked him. Later, when he encountered her in person, he allegedly grabbed her inappropriately.

The actress has filed a complaint stating that he followed and harassed her and physically assaulted her. It is reported that he had been messaging her on social media posing as a fan. He will be produced in court today and remanded.
