Kochi youth comes to attend wedding, falls to death from apartment balcony in Kottayam

Kottayam: In a tragic incident, a young man who came to attend a wedding ceremony in Bharananganam in Kottayam district from Ernakulam fell to death from the balcony of an apartment here. 

The deceased has been identified as Ambadi Santhosh, a native of Kothamangalam. The accident happened in the wee hours of Monday at around 12:30 am.

According to the Pala Police, Santhosh was standing at the balcony when he slipped and fell down. The young man, who had come to attend the marriage function, took a room in the flat with his friends.

The body has been shifted to a private hospital mortuary in Bharananganam. The body will be handed over to his relatives after completing the formalities, the police said.
