Woman injured in stray dog attack dies during treatment

Thrissur: A 52-year-old woman who was undergoing treatment after being bitten by a dog died on Monday. The deceased has been identified as Kandanassery native Sheela. 

It was only three days ago, Sheela was attacked by a stray dog. Soon she sought medical aid and was administered anti-rabies vaccine. After suffering health issues, she was admitted to the Govt Medical College hospital here the other day. Hospital authorities informed that the cause of death could not be confirmed before an autopsy.
