Woman killed after scooter falls into a gorge in Wayanad

Kalpetta: A 24-year-old Wayanad native was killed when her scooter lost control and fell into a gorge near Panniyar Road here on Thursday. Fathima Thaskiya, daughter of O.M.A Salam, former chairman of Popular Front of India (PFI), met with the accident on Wednesday around 10 p.m. 

Ajmiya, who was travelling with her, is undergoing treatment at the Kozhikode Medical College hospital. Fathima and Ajmiya are medical students at the Kozhikode medical college.
