Wayanad native killed in road accident in Gundlupete while returning from Mysuru

Sulthan Bathery: Ashley Sabu (23), a native of Wayanad district, was killed in a road accident on  NH 766 in Maddur village, Gundlupete in Karnataka on Monday (October 23) night.

It is known that Ashley and her relative were heading back home on a bike after celebrating Navaratri holidays in Mysuru. The rider lost control over the bike after crossing a speed breaker, eventually leading to the accident. Ashley’s relative sustained minor injuries in the accident.

Ashley, who completed B.Ed, was teaching at a private tuition centre in Meenangadi. She is survived by her mother Binci and siblings Basil and Athira. The mortal remains of the deceased will be laid to rest at the cemetery in Meenangadi St. Peter’s church.
