Narrow escape for Wayanad student as mobile phone explodes in his room

Panamaram: Sinan, a school student, living in Madakkimala village in Wayanad district, had a narrow escape as his phone exploded right beside him, inside his room. Sinan is the son of Ozhakkalkunnu native Shamsuddin Musaliyar.

The incident happened around 11 PM on Tuesday night (July 11). Sinan, had kept his mobile phone beside a window close to his bed. He abruptly woke up from sleep as he heard a sound. He threw away his phone immediately after realising that the noise came from the device. Within a couple of minutes, the phone exploded producing a huge sound.

The phone was bought a couple of years ago.
