Watch: Hanuman monkey captured after escape from TVM Zoo nearly a month ago

Thiruvananthapuram: The officials on Thursday successfully captured the Hanuman monkey (Gray langur) which escaped from the Thiruvananthapuram Zoo. The monkey had been straying for nearly one month. 

The monkey was captured from Goethe-Zentrum Trivandrum, nearby All India Radio. The animal was captured with a help of a net and was taken to the zoo said reports. Animal keeper Ajithin captured the monkey. 

The monkey was recent;y spotted in the Vazhuthacaud region and officials were tracking it. The officials have been trying to allure the monkey with food favourites for the capture, but attempts did not turn fruitful. The monkey later went missing. The new development comes at this juncture.
