HC quashes corruption case against Jacob Thomas

Kochi: The High Court quashed the corruption case against former DGP Jacob Thomas. The single bench of the high court quashed the case relating to dredging case. Reacting to the court verdict, Jacob Thomas told mathrubhumi.com that the court verdict proves the truth will win ultimately.

"The case was a fabricated one. Some officials played a major role in it. But no politicians were part of it. The verdict has proved that those who stand against corruption can survive in this society," he added.

A similar incident is taking place in Mumbai against Sameer Wankhede. He probed a case sincerely and is being crusaded for that. I fought for all those opposing corruption, he said.

I was suspended for one year after fighting against corruption. I have been denied even my pension. I will get back everything, Jacob Thomas said.
