Nipah virus: Five more samples test negative, informs minister

Kozhikode: Health minister Veena George informed that five more samples tested negative for Nipah virus.

Among the samples, four were tested at Pune NIV and one was tested at a special laboratory set up in the Kozhikode medical college.

With this, test results of 73 people who had come in close contact with the 12-year-old child who succumbed to Nipah have been negative, till now, the minister said.
