Satheesan takes a dig at Sachindev, says it's about bombs, not about KSRTC driver

Thiruvananthapuram: Taking a dig at Balusserry MLA Sachindev as he tried to disrupt his speech through vociferous shouts, VD Satheesan, leader of opposition, has asked why the young MLA is making so much noise as he is not speaking about threatening a KSRTC driver on the road. It was an innuendo reminding the members of the assembly about Sachindev’s ‘highway hullabaloo’ involving his wife Arya Rajendran, mayor of Thiruvananthapuram Corporation.
Satheesan was speaking on the floor about the bomb making in Kannur district. As he was going hammer and tongs at the government and CPM regarding the bomb culture in Kannur, Sachindev tried to stop him through shouts. “I am not speaking about the incident in which a KSRTC driver was threatened on the road. I am speaking about the bomb making in Kannur. You don’t have to create a commotion”, said Satheesan.
“This government encourages criminals. Bombs are being produced with the silent support and blessings of CPM and the police. Innocent people are getting killed and normal life gets affected at many places due to this. But, the government takes no action to control the situation”, Satheesan alleged.
The KSRTC bus was stopped on the road by Sachindev and Mayor Arya Rajendran alleging that Yadhu, the driver of the KSRTC bus, had made obscene gestures against them. Cantonment police had registered a case against Yadhu based on the complaint lodged by Mayor Arya Rajendran. Yadhu also lodged a complaint against the mayor for obstructing his duty.
