Ernakulam to Bengaluru Vande Bharat Express: Massive booking rush as tickets vanish in hours

Ernakulam: The newly introduced Vande Bharat Express between Ernakulam and Bengaluru has seen overwhelming demand, with tickets selling out within hours of bookings opening. The train, flagged off by Prime Minister Narendra Modi via video link from Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, marks the third Vande Bharat Express service for Kerala. It will be operated and maintained by the Southern Railway (SR) zone.

According to the IRCTC ticketing portal, tickets for train number 26652 Ernakulam–KSR Bengaluru Vande Bharat Express are fully booked for the coming days. The Executive Chair Car category has been waitlisted for the next 10 days, reflecting the high passenger interest.

Meanwhile, AC Chair Car tickets have also sold out for November 16, while fewer than 50 seats remained available for November 11, the day of the train’s first commercial run (as of 16:39 hrs on 8 November).
