Two national kayaking athletes from Alappuzha die in Bhopal bike accident

Alappuzha: Two national kayaking athletes serving in the Navy tragically lost their lives in a bike accident in Bhopal. The deceased have been identified as Vishnu Raghunath and Anandakrishnan, both natives of Kainakary in Alappuzha.

The athletes had undergone training at the Water Sports Centre of the Sports Authority of India in Punnamada. According to family sources, the accident occurred on Saturday night.

More details regarding the accident are yet to be revealed, as relatives, the public, the forces, and the sporting fraternity continue to mourn the demise of the promising youngsters.
