Trawling ban in Kerala from June 9

Thiruvananthapuram: With the southwest monsoon intensifying, a trawling ban has been imposed in Kerala coast.

The trawling ban will be in effect from June 9 (Tuesday) midnight to July 31 midnight.  

All boats from other states engaged in fishing activities across the Kerala coast have been asked to move away from the coast before June 9.
