Big upgrade for Thiruvananthapuram Rajdhani Express: More AC coaches to be added from February 4

Passengers travelling on the Hazrat Nizamuddin–Thiruvananthapuram Central Rajdhani Express will soon experience enhanced comfort as the Railways has announced a permanent augmentation of the train. From February 4, an additional First Class AC coach and an AC Three Tier coach will be introduced on Train No. 12432/12431. The upgrade will be effective from Hazrat Nizamuddin on February 4 and from Thiruvananthapuram Central on February 6.

The augmentation is aimed at accommodating the growing demand for premium travel services on the busy route. The inclusion of extra coaches will provide passengers with better availability of seats, particularly benefiting those seeking First Class AC and AC Three Tier options.

Apart from the Thiruvananthapuram Rajdhani Express, Indian Railways has also announced similar permanent augmentation for the Hazrat Nizamuddin–Dr MGR Chennai Central Rajdhani Express. Train No. 12434/12433 will be upgraded with an additional First Class AC coach and an AC Three Tier coach. The augmentation will take effect from Hazrat Nizamuddin on February 5 and from Dr MGR Chennai Central on February 7.
