Speeding tipper lorry kills 5-year-old boy on bicycle in Nadapuram

Nadapuram (Kozhikode): A five-year-old child was killed after a tipper lorry hit him here on Monday. The deceased was identified as Shihab, son of Nadapuram Varikoli native Rafeeq.

The incident took place around 1.30 on Sunday. The child was playing on a bicycle near his house when the speeding tipper lorry hit him.

Though the boy was rushed to Nadapuram Taluk Hospital immediately, his life could not be saved. The body was shifted to Vadakara district hospital for post-mortem.
