Kerala cops stabbed while on duty by miscreants at local toddy shop

Thrissur: In a bizzare incident, two cops were stabbed by miscreants while on duty here on Thursday. Ollur Station House Officer (SHO) T P Farsad and Civil Police Officer (CPO) Vineeth were injured in a stabbing incident while investigating a brawl at a local toddy shop. 

The attack occurred on Thursday evening around 7 pm. The SHO sustained a stab wound to his left shoulder, while the CPO suffered injuries to his leg.

The police team had gone to look for suspects involved in a stabbing earlier that morning at a toddy shop in Padavara. Acting on information that the suspects were hiding in a nearby poultry farm, the officers reached the location, where the group of assailants attacked them.
