Three of a family drown in river in Nadapuram

Nadapuram, Kozhikode: In a tragic incident, three members of a family lost their lives after drowning in a river at Puliyavu on Saturday.

The deceased have been identified as Ansar, his wife Suhada, and their daughter Kensa.

According to preliminary reports, the family had gone to the river to wash clothes when the child accidentally slipped into deep water.

While attempting to rescue her, Ansar and Suhada also drowned.
