Those criticising my autobiography haven’t read it properly: EP Jayarajan

Nedumbassery: CPM leader EP Jayarajan said that those alleging inconsistencies in his newly launched autobiography are people who haven’t read it properly. He was speaking to the media at the Kochi airport.
“If there are people who don’t get clarity even after reading, I’m ready to arrange a programme in Kannur to clarify for them,” he added.
Jayarajan had earlier said during his speech after the book launch that there would be a continuation to the autobiography, including the things he couldn’t say or had left out in the first part. “I will speak about what couldn’t be revealed earlier and complete the remaining parts of my political life. I have lived all my life as part of the party. The attacks against me were part of a deliberate move to weaken the CPM. I am pure, I carry no burden of guilt. I was a minister who ensured corruption-free governance, and the people know that,” he said.
Sobha Surendran lashes out at autobiography
Thrissur: BJP state general secretary Sobha Surendran criticised EP Jayarajan’s autobiography. “It should actually have been titled ‘Autobiography of a Thief’,” she said at a press conference.
Jayarajan wrote in his autobiography that when Sobha Surendran called him, he thought it was to invite him to contest in the elections. “Many Communist Party leaders know me that I never made such a call to anyone. The BJP flag would have fallen on Jayarajan’s neck if he had made that choice. Once you make a decision after thinking it through, you must stand by it,” Sobha said.
“Now the Chief Minister says Jayarajan is innocent. If he was really innocent, why was he removed from the convenor post?” she asked.
