TVM man offers gold chain worth Rs 44.98 lakh to Sabarimala temple

Pathanamthitta: A devotee hailing from Thiruvananthapuram has offered a gold chain of 107.75 sovereigns to Lord Ayyappa of Sabarimala temple. 

The long and layered chain costs around Rs 44.98 lakh. 

The devotee, who doesn’t want his name to be revealed, is a businessman abroad. He visited Sabarimala on Friday morning along with his friend and presented the chain in front of the sanctum sanctorum.
