Teacher arrested for derogatory social media post on VS Achuthanandan

Thiruvananthapuram: A teacher has been arrested by Nagaroor police for allegedly posting derogatory comments on social media about the late former Chief Minister V S Achuthanandan.
The accused, Anoop Viyayan, a resident of Nedumparambu in Nagaroor, was held on Tuesday.

Anoop is a teacher at Attingal Government Boys Higher Secondary School. Following the news of Achuthanandan’s demise, he reportedly posted an offensive status on WhatsApp, which triggered widespread outrage.
