MT is irreplaceable, a true pride of Malayalis, says Suraj Venjaramoodu

Kozhikode: Actor Suraj Venjaramoodu expressed heartfelt condolence over the demise of legendary writer and filmmaker MT Vasudevan Nair, describing him as the soul of Malayali culture, language, cinema, and literature.

Suraj remarked that MT Vasudevan Nair was not merely a literary giant but also a trailblazer in cinema. He remarked that it would not be an exaggeration to consider MT as irreplaceable in his contributions to Malayali society.

Acknowledging MT Vasudevan Nair's celebrated career, Suraj highlighted his 22 Kerala State Film Awards for screenwriting, six National Film Awards, and the Jnanpith Award, the highest literary honour in India. These accolades reflect his remarkable journey across diverse creative fields.

Suraj Venjaramoodu also extended condolences to MT Vasudevan Nair's family, acknowledging the profound grief of losing such a towering figure.
