Actor Sreenath Bhasi booked in hit-and-run case

Kochi: A case has been registered against actor Sreenath Bhasi for allegedly failing to stop after hitting a biker in Kochi. The Kochi Central Police are currently investigating the incident, which occurred on September 8.

The biker, identified as Muhammad Faheem from Mattancherry, was allegedly struck by Bhasi's car. The police are also looking into the individuals who were present with Bhasi during the incident.

Drug party probe

This case comes shortly after Bhasi was questioned by police concerning suspicions of his involvement in a drug party at a luxury hotel in Kundannoor. Notorious gangster Omprakash and his associate Shihas were arrested for hosting the party. Both Sreenath Bhasi and actress Prayaga Martin were interrogated due to their previous visit to the venue. However, the police later clarified that there was no evidence against Bhasi for any wrongdoing in that connection.
