Sexual assault complaint: Charge sheet filed against Mukesh and Idavela Babu

Kochi: A charge sheet has been filed against actor Mukesh MLA  and Idavela Babu in connection with a complaint filed by an actress from Aluva. The charge sheet was filed in a total of seven cases, including a complaint lodged by hair stylists. The cases were registered in Ponkunnam, Kottayam and Kakkanad Infopark.

The charge sheet was filed by a special investigation team based on the harassment complaints that surfaced after the release of the Hema Committee report. The complaint against Mukesh alleges that he assaulted the actress in a hotel at Vadakkanchery, Thrissur. The complaint against Idavela Babu alleges that he assaulted the actress in an apartment at Kaloor. These two cases are included in the charge sheet.

The cases filed by the hair stylists from Ponkunnam and Kakkanad Infopark are also part of the charge sheet. In total, the special investigation team has submitted a charge sheet in seven cases. The full details of the charge sheet have not yet been released. The details will be made public after the concerned courts review the charge sheet.
