No need for Kerala CM to change style, LDF to get hat-trick: SNDP leader Vellappally Natesan

Thiruvananthapuram: The CPM and Pinarayi Vijayan do not need to change their style, SNDP Yogam general secretary Vellapalli Natesan said. Everyone is saying that Pinarayi should change his style. But there is no need to change Pinarayi's style, he said.

Vellappalli made these remarks while talking to the media.

“Pinarayi ruled in the same style for the first five years. Despite everyone's criticism, his style did not change. He was elected for the second time for five more years. Still in the same style. His style has not cost him any votes. The second Pinarayi Government was elected in the midst of many problems like Sabarimala. Even if everyone expected that the Left would not win, it was a huge victory for the second time. There is no doubt that the Pinarayi Government will continue for the third term. Karunakaran, Nayanar and VS had different styles. People identified with Pinarayi's style. It cannot be changed,” Vellapalli said.

He also demanded that the CPM find the reason for the failure in the parliamentary elections and find a solution. “Last time all the common people had the kit. Now the pension is in arrears and cannot be paid. Even cockroaches don’t get food inside Maveli stores. Daily use items could not be given at low prices. The basic class was not given enough consideration and protection. All these are the reasons for failure in the parliamentary elections,” he clarified.

Vellappally also alleged that appeasement was done, but the minorities did not vote for the CPM.
