Shone George gets charge of 3 districts as BJP appoints office bearers for 6 Kerala clusters

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Kerala has divided the state into six organisational clusters and appointed regional in-charges and organisational secretaries for all 14 districts.
State BJP president Rajiv Chandrasekhar announced the appointments on Wednesday, August 19, 2026. The new arrangement divides the districts into six regions, with each cluster placed under a regional in-charge and an organisational secretary.
Kasaragod, Kannur and Wayanad
The northernmost cluster comprises Kasaragod, Kannur and Wayanad. State cell co-ordinator Adv. V.K. Sajeevan has been appointed as the regional in-charge.
A.V. Shiju will serve as the regional organisational secretary for the cluster.
Kozhikode and Malappuram
The Kozhikode-Malappuram cluster will be headed by state vice-president V. Unnikrishnan Master.
K.P. Suresh has been appointed as the organisational secretary for the region.
Thrissur and Palakkad
In central Kerala, Thrissur and Palakkad have been grouped into a single cluster.
State vice-president Adv. K.K. Aneesh Kumar will serve as its regional in-charge, while K.V. Suresh Babu has been appointed regional organisational secretary.
Ernakulam, Kottayam and Idukki
The Ernakulam, Kottayam and Idukki cluster will be headed by state vice-president Adv. Shone George.
Ajighosh has been appointed as the organisational secretary for the region.
Alappuzha and Pathanamthitta
In southern Kerala, state general secretary Anoop Antony Joseph has been given charge of the Alappuzha-Pathanamthitta cluster.
G. Kashinath will serve as the regional organisational secretary for the cluster.
Thiruvananthapuram and Kollam
The capital region comprises Thiruvananthapuram and Kollam. State vice-president K. Soman has been appointed its regional in-charge.
G. Kashinath has also been appointed regional organisational secretary for the Thiruvananthapuram-Kollam cluster.
The official order announcing the appointments was issued from the BJP state committee office at K.G. Marar Bhavan.
