Bus from Bengaluru to Kerala overturns in Hunsur; several injured
Hunsur, Karnataka: A private bus travelling from Bengaluru to Kerala's Perinthalmanna via Manjeri overturned on Thursday night, injuring several passengers. The AC sleeper bus, operated by SKS Travels, lost control around midnight, hit a nearby electric post, and rolled over twice. Most of the passengers on board were Malayalis.
The injured were shifted to a nearby hospital. Reports indicate that none of the injuries are life-threatening. Information from the injured passengers suggests that the driver may have fallen asleep on the wheel.
