40 injured as bus overturns in Kottayam | Video

Kottayam (Kerala): A private bus overturned in Thalayolaparambu, leaving about forty people injured. It is learned that three people are in critical condition. 

The accident involved a bus named Ave Maria, which operates on the Ernakulam-Pala-Erattupetta route. It is said that the bus was overspeeding at the time of the accident. 

The incident happened around 7:15 p.m. The bus lost control and overturned while taking a turn at the Gurumandiram junction on the Kottayam-Ernakulam road.
