Kannur maintains a slender lead over Kozhikode; Mammootty to attend closing ceremony

Kollam: Kannur remains on top of the points table as Kalolsavam enters its last day, closely followed by Kozhikode with a difference of just one point. Kannur has accumulated 872 points so far. Meanwhile, Kozhikode has gathered 871 points in total till the end of day 4.

Palakkad stands third with 869 points. With 850 points and 837 points each, Thrissur and Malappuram districts occupy fourth and fifth positions respectively. Among the schools, Alathur BSS Gurukulam has gathered the maximum points so far by accumulating 224 points at the end of day 4. 

Meanwhile, actor Mammootty will be the chief guest for the closing ceremony of the 62nd Kerala State School Kalolsavam to be held in Kollam today. The ceremony will be inaugurated by opposition leader VD Satheesan at 5 PM in the evening.
