Planning to visit Sabarimala? Railway announces 4 special trains for your smooth travel

Kochi: In light of the heavy passenger rush during the Sabarimala season, Southern Railway has announced the four special trains to Kerala. These trains will operate from Vijayawada, Kakinada, Guntur and Narasapur to Kollam, with a total of 16 services scheduled in both directions.

The 07177 Vijayawada - Kollam special train will depart at 10:15 pm on December 21 and 28 (Saturdays), arriving in Kollam at 06:20 am on the third day. The train will make stops at Palakkad, Thrissur, Aluva, Ernakulam Town, Ettumanoor, Kottayam, Thiruvalla, Chengannur and Kayamkulam. 
The return journey, 07178 Kollam - Kakinada, will begin on December 23 and 30 (Mondays) at 10:45 am, reaching Kakinada town at 09:00 pm on the third day.

The 07179 Kakinada Town - Kollam special train will depart from Kakinada at 11:50 pm on January 1 and 8 (Wednesdays) and reach Kollam at 05:30 am on the third day. It will make stops at Palakkad, Thrissur, Aluva, Ernakulam Town, Ettumanoor, Kottayam, Thiruvalla, Chengannur, Mavelikkara and Kayamkulam. 
The return journey, 07180 Kollam - Guntur, will depart at 08:40 am on January 3 and 10 (Fridays), arriving in Guntur at 11:30 am the following day.

The 07181 Guntur - Kollam special train will leave Guntur at 11:45 pm on January 4, 11, and 18 (Saturdays), reaching Kollam at 06:20 am on the third day. 
The return 07182 Kollam - Kakinada Town service will depart Kollam at 10:45 am on January 6 (Monday), reaching Kakinada at 10:00 pm the next day. The train will make stops at Palakkad, Thrissur, Aluva, Ernakulam, Ettumanoor, Kottayam, Thiruvalla, Chengannur and Kayamkulam.

The 07183 Narasapur - Kollam special train will depart Narasapur at 09:00 pm on January 15 and 22 (Wednesdays), reaching Kollam at 05:30 am on the third day. 
The return 07184 Kollam - Narasapur special train will leave Kollam at 08:40 am on January 17 and 24, arriving in Narasapur at 04:30 pm the next day. The train will stop at Palakkad, Thrissur, Aluva, Ernakulam, Ettumanoor, Kottayam, Thiruvalla, Chengannur, Mavelikkara and Kayamkulam.
