Kerala State Transport Commissioner S Sreejith removed amid dispute with Ganesh Kumar

Thiruvananthapuram: S. Sreejith has been removed from his position as Kerala State Transport Commissioner following disputes with Minister K. B. Ganesh Kumar. This change marks a significant development in a department recently plagued by controversies.

The conflict between Minister Ganesh Kumar and Sreejith centred on driving test reforms, with differences of opinion arising over the issue. Sreejith's decision to implement projects endorsed by former Transport Minister Antony Raju reportedly aggravated Ganesh Kumar.

Tensions escalated publicly when Ganesh Kumar criticised Sreejith at a meeting with driving school owners. The situation deteriorated from there, ultimately leading to Sreejith's removal from office.
