PV Chandran bags IAA’s Editor of the Year Award

Mumbai: Mathrubhumi Chairman and Managing Editor PV Chandran was conferred the ‘Editor of the Year Award’ by the India chapter of the International Advertising Association (IAA). The award will be presented at a ceremony scheduled to be held on August 9 in Mumbai.
The award jury was headed by Nadir Godrej, chairman of Godrej Industry Private Limited. Previously, Rajkamal Shah of Indian Express, Bodhisatva Ganguli of Economic Times, Sukumar Ranganathan of Hindustan Times, Aroon Purie of India Today and Jaideep Bose of Times of India have received this award.
PV Chandran, who was elected into the director board of Mathrubhumi in 1977, was appointed as the managing editor in 1989. He has been serving as the chairman and managing editor since 2021.
