Private e-charging stations to be set up in Kerala

Kochi: Private companies are targeting Kerala to launch e-charging stations in order to create an electric vehicle revolution here.

Zeon Charging based in Tamil Nadu is eyeing Kerala as a good market. The e-charging stations will be set up in Kochi and Walayar in Palakkad.

The first charging station of Zeon Charging was opened in Salem the other day. Zeon Charging is the subsidiary company of Zeon International Group in Tamil Nadu.

The company is planning to start new stations in Kochi, Chennai, Bengaluru, Mysuru, Walayar, Villupuram, Krishnagiri and Vellur.
