Politics gives way to pastry! Priyanka Gandhi tries her hand at baking in Wayanad

Wayanad: Congress MP and AICC general secretary Priyanka Gandhi  Vadra briefly traded politics for pastry making on Thursday, trying her hand at cake icing and piping cupcake batter during a visit to a culinary facility at the KINFRA (Kerala Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation) Park in Wayanad.

Dressed in a protective hairnet, the Wayanad parliamentarian was seen taking guidance from the head chef and staff as she decorated baked goods at the industrial processing unit.
 

Following her interactive session in the bakery kitchen, Priyanka held discussions with local entrepreneurs, facility staff and development officials to address operational challenges related to export logistics and infrastructure expansion.

Her itinerary in Wayanad also featured engagement with local agricultural delegates. Representatives from the organic farming sector briefed the MP on pressing issues, including seed shortages, supply chain constraints, market access barriers and the accelerating impact of climate change on crop yields.

Later in the day, Priyanka attended a United Democratic Front (UDF) leadership meeting in Kalpetta to evaluate local administrative concerns and outline political strategy for the district.
