Police issue look-out notice against Mallu Traveler over sexual harassment case

Kochi: The Police have issued a look-out notice against vlogger Mallu Traveler alias Shakir Subhan in connection with a sexual harassment case over a complaint lodged by a woman native of Saudi Arabia. The notice has been issued at airports. Mallu Traveler has been directed to appear before the police as soon as possible.

As the accused has been living abroad, the police have not been able to interrogate him or take further action despite days of receiving the complaint. The police have informed airport authorities to detain him if he returns to Kerala. 

It is also learnt that the police have intensified procedures concerning the case. The confidential statement of the complainant has been recorded before the magistrate. 

According to the complainant, Subhan misbehaved and groped her when she had come to attend an interview in Kochi. Meanwhile, Mallu Traveler has denied the woman’s allegation and stated that the complaint was “cent per cent fake.”

However, taking to social media, he denied the allegations and wrote, “I saw a fake complaint against me in the news. I will face it (the complaint) with sufficient evidence.”
