Police seize guns and pellets from a residence in Aluva

Kochi: Four guns and pellets were seized from the residence of a person named Riyas in Aluva today. He has been taken into police custody.

The police had raided the house after receiving a tip-off. Two revolvers, two pistols and around Rs. 8 lakh were seized by the police from his residence. As per the report, the firearms were not licensed. 

According to the police, Riyas is associated with a group of goons and is the accused in many police cases, including murder cases. He is being interrogated by the police.
