Pinarayi Vijayan returns to Kerala amidst political mayhem

Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan and his team, who were on foreign trip for the last two weeks, landed in Thiruvananthapuram airport around 3:30 AM on Tuesday.

Kerala CM and his team, after attending the Kerala Loka Kerala Sabha meeting in New York, had flown to Cuba, and finally returned to Kerala after a short stay in Dubai.

Pinarayi Vijayan’s return amidst the political mayhem is keenly watched. The state has been caught in a political storm ever since ‘controversies’ involving several SFI leaders in various colleges across the state surfaced in the media. Cases registered against a news anchor and KPCC president in separate cases have further worsened the political tension.
