Party has not demanded Rahul Mamkootathil’s resignation, says Sunny Joseph

Kozhikode: KPCC president Sunny Joseph said the Left’s allegation that the Congress is hiding MLA Rahul Mamkootathil is childish. If they know where he is being sheltered, Sunny said he is ready to accompany them there.

The party has not received any complaint against Rahul Mamkootathil. The party’s action was based only on media reports, he further clarified.

When asked whether the party would demand Rahul’s arrest, he replied that there is no such rule and that they have not demanded his resignation either. He also mentioned that Rahul has not taken part in any official party event.

He was speaking at the ‘Meet the Leader’ event organised by the Kozhikode Press Club. He also said the ED notice to the Chief Minister and former Finance Minister was just an adjustment and it would end up like the notice issued to Vivek Kiran.
