P Sreeramakrishnan's daughter wedding to be held at old age home like all other family celebrations

Thavanoor: It is wedding bells for Niranjana, the daughter of former Speaker of Kerala Legislative Assembly P Sreeramakrishnan and his wife Divya. But the venue is not a temple or a hall like in the case of other traditional Hindu weddings. The wedding will be held on 22 May at the old age home in Thavanoor that works under the Department of Social Justice. Sangeeth, son of Sivakumar and Chithralekha, is the groom.

It was Niranjana’s decision to hold the wedding there. Sreeramakrishnan and family often pay visits to the old age home. They spend special days like Onam and other celebrations with the inmates and have grown very close with them over the years.

Niranjana works in the HR department in the Uralungal Labour Contract Co-Operative Society in Kozhikode. Sangeeth was Niranjana’s senior while she was pursuing her degree in MBA.
