Owner of 'Robin Bus' arrested in cheque bounce case

Pala: Baby Gireesh, the owner of the controversial 'Robin Bus', was arrested in a decade-old case on Sunday. 

Pala Police arrested him from his residence in connection to a cheque bounce case from 2012. 

Chief Judicial Magistrate Court in Ernakulam issued the warrant. As per the latest reports, he will be taken to Ernakulam after a medical examination at Pala General Hospital. 

Gireesh recently came into the public eye following his legal battle against the state government in connection to the Motor Vehicle Department's action against his bus in the name of conducting inter-state services by violating permit rules.
